The patient became sick, and suffered organ failure including kidneys which did not heal. The rest of her life was a new regimen of hemodialysis, followed by peritoneal dilution. After spending 80 consecutive days in the hospital her condition changed from close to death, and then a lengthy recovery path. Angelica underwent dialysis treatment for over a decade half years before receiving the kidney transplant. She would receive the donated kidney from her mom. Angelica Hale had a successful kidney transplantation along with her mother on the 13th of September 2013. The surgery was performed in Emory University Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young girl from Atlanta who has always dreamed of becoming an actress as well as a performer, is still pursuing that goal.
